Maman Goes POP! Is Back!

It’s been a while but we’re delighted to be bringing it back!

Those of you who have followed the CheltenhamMaman/The MumBoss Club journey over the last four years might fondly remember Maman Goes Pop! a delightful collection of shopping, events, talks and one to ones which took place in central Cheltenham from time to time. We miss it and we hear you do too!

But COVID-19 means we now all need to find ways to come together whilst staying apart and I’m delighted to announce that the MumBosses are doing exactly that and bringing Maman Goes Pop! back in a virtual capacity!

Here’s everything you need to know….

When: The pop up market and events hub will take place from 8am on Thursday the 28th May until 10.30pm on Saturday the 30th May meaning regardless of childcare and work commitments there should be something for everyone!

Where: Workshops, talks, demos and exclusive one to one learning or drop ins will take place via Zoom over the course of the three days. The retail element will be shoppable via our awesome Facebook event and on Instagram. Expect some significant special offers just for you from our amazing collection of incredible mum run businesses.

How: There’s a couple of things you should all definitely do to get involved…. first and foremost tell us that you’d like to get involved in the Facebook group so you won’t miss out on the exclusive content during the event. Then take a look at the agenda below and select and book your tickets (some are free, some have a small charge) as spaces are limited. We’ll send you your zoom links by email in advance of the events! If you’ve booked a ticket to an event you’ll also receive a handy spreadsheet of all the businesses taking part and the exclusive discounts they are offering by email.

So here’s the agenda (keep popping back as we’ll be adding more over the coming ten days)

Join me, Sally, for a 1 hour free demonstration where I will be showing you how to create a simple vase arrangement. I will demonstrate the basics involved in a hand tie which will then be placed in a vase. No tricks, just basic core floristry skills which will hopefully give you the confidence to try your own at home. During this 1 hour session you will have the opportunity to ask me any questions about the design. Spaces will be limited to 15 to allow plenty of interaction along the way.

FRIDAY 29th AND SATURDAY 30th Financial Health Check drop ins (various times, duration around one hour) with Annika of Annika Grizzell Wealth Management.

We find ourselves in quite unprecedented times and manage a very different day-to day-routine than we are used to.

Many are starting to get through those ‘to-do’ lists which probably includes a spring clean of the house or garage. Others have less time as they have taken on additional responsibilities. Some are inspired to get a bit more active having no commute for the day.

With so much change, peace of mind is as important as ever and that includes financial health. Knowing you are in good financial health is as important as having a healthy body and a sound mind.

Saturday 30th May, Gemma from ‘Just Mortgages‘ is available to talk mortgages from 9am – 10pm on Saturday, book in for a Zoom Chat if your mortgage deal is coming to an end or you are hoping to move home!

SATURDAY 30th- Capturing the Moments! How to photograph your children during lockdown with Claire Westaway. 7.30-9pm

How many times have you gone to take a photograph of your children and found you’re just not quite sure how to get the shot you want; how to take a photo which captures their personality and the moment you see?  This workshop will help you with that! You do not need a fancy camera, the hints and tips I’m going to be sharing work just as well with a basic point-and-shoot or iPhone camera – this workshop is about making small changes in order to take better photos as your children go about their day to day lives in lockdown. £10

So get booking on! We’re all thrilled about this event and can assure you there will be more being added to it over the coming days in the run up. We’ll also be creating a very special page all about the exclusive shopping benefits and updating everyone in the Facebook event so make sure you follow along and tell your friends!

Thanks as ever for your support.
